More than 65 partners, from the Jackson County Health Department, which hosts this site, to local hospitals, parks departments, community gardens, school districts, cities and nonprofit organizations, have joined together to capture all the area's resources here to help you energize your life.

Women in Training at Saint Luke's East-Lee's Summit is a seven-week exercise program for women of all ages and fitness levels. Don't miss Stuffee's Healthy Habits or Stuffee and the Snack Attack at Paradise Park daily at 2 p.m., Stuffee, a 7-foot doll and healthy habits guru, teaches children about their body and good health habits including how exercise affects the heart and lungs; how eating good foods can be tasty and healthy; and how to choose snacks that are good for you.

Field trips to Paradise Park are always fun, but they can be healthy, too. Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics Weight Management Program addresses childhood obesity prevention and treatment with services including evidence-based nutrition and physical activity interventions to assist families in adopting and maintaining a healthier way of life. – Children's Mercy

Girls on the Run is a program for girls in 3rd-5th grade which teaches them how to make good choices based on who they are rather than who society says they should be. This 24 lesson prevention program also provides girls with the training they need to complete a 5K community event at the end of the 12 week season.
